The Sandpiper has a large fishing deck which is great for reeling in your catch.
It also has a bridge that allows you to observe and take pictures of the anglers
catching fish, (while you wait your turn).
The Sandpiper is moored at the M & D Marine which is owned and operated by Captain
Mike and located at 115 E. Spring St., Port Austin Michigan.
Fully equipped with all the latest electronics , 24 mile GPS radar, electronic down
riggers, color video fish sonar, and ship to shore marine radios, as well as a cell
phone, the Sandpiper exceeds all safety standards required by law and is ideally
suited to fishing the Port Austin area of Lake Huron. There is also a head on board
if needed.
The Sandpiper is a 28 foot Marinette Sport Fisherman with bridge, twin inboards and
a spacious cabin that will comfortably accommodate 6 people. (If you have more than
6 people in your party, let us know and we can arrange to have additional charter
boats available.
