Fishing Lake Huron at the Tip of the Thumb is special.
Located off the north end of the Saginaw bay, the waters hold an abundance of sport
fish that feed off the bait that the bay provides. From May through September, Lake
Trout are caught in the cold waters that the lake provides. From the last week of
June through July, Walleye can be caught in the warmer, shallower, waters of the
natural reefs that the coast has to offer.
