His first mate, Mike Williams has lived in Port Austin his entire life and has worked on charter boats for the past 14 years.   Together, both Mikes can provide all the answers to questions you may have about catching fish and local attractions.

Captain Mike Morgan

With over 25 years experience fishing Lake Huron as a coast guard licensed captain, Captain Mike knows where to find the fish and reel them in.   Mike has specifically been fishing the Port Austin/Grindstone area since 1982.   Mike owns  M&D Marine in Port Austin where he sells tackle, marine supplies, and repairs boats.

Mike has been working on charter boats as a first mate for 14 years. Mike is known for being a friendly guy who knows his stuff and can answer your questions about fishing as well as local attractions.   He is extremely good with kids.   He teaches auto repair at the Bad Axe Technical Center in the winter months.
